Replica Rolex GMT-Master II Dial Watches
Although Rolex had already offered the GMT-Master II in all three variations of 18k gold, only the white gold "Pepsi" version had more than one dial option. Vintage yellow gold and two-tone GMT-Master II replica watches can be found with either black or brown dials. However, within the modern era of ceramic bezels, which spans roughly the past 20 years, all yellow gold and Everose gold models have consistently featured only black dials. That trend has now shifted with the latest release unveiled at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2025. Rolex has introduced a new configuration for the Everose gold "Root Beer" model, expanding the GMT-Master II lineup with a striking new dial crafted from tiger’s iron.
The new tiger’s iron Rolex GMT-Master II 126715CHNR "Root Beer" is, in essence, a dial variation of the existing full-Everose gold model. Instead of the familiar black dial, this version features a dial made from natural tiger’s iron. For those unfamiliar, tiger’s iron is a unique metamorphic rock composed of tiger’s eye, red jasper, and silver hematite. This stone makes its debut within the Rolex catalog through this new release. The combination of minerals creates a distinctive linear texture across the dial surface, with golden orange hues and flashes of red, offering a far more dynamic and vibrant appearance compared to the uniform color of tiger’s eye.
Apart from the new stone dial, the tiger’s iron "Root Beer" GMT-Master II remains identical to the existing Everose gold model. It even shares the same reference number, 126715CHNR. However, the internal classification Rolex uses to differentiate dials (though not engraved on the watch itself) sets them apart. The standard black-dial Everose gold model is internally designated as 126715CHNR-0001, while the tiger’s iron dial version carries the number 126715CHNR-0002. Much like the current white gold GMT-Master II models, these two Everose versions differ only in terms of their dials, making the latest addition a refined and luxurious update to the familiar design.
The tiger’s iron GMT-Master II continues to be crafted entirely from Rolex’s proprietary 18k Everose gold, a special blend designed to maintain its warm hue over time. The case measures 40mm and features Rolex’s signature Triplock screw-down crown and a solid caseback, providing 100 meters of water resistance. The watch is topped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal that includes Rolex’s cyclops magnification lens. Surrounding the crystal is a bi-directional bezel fitted with a Cerachrom insert in a split-tone brown and black color scheme.
Powering the new model is the same in-house Caliber 3285 automatic movement found in other current-generation Rolex GMT-Master II replica watches. This movement offers true traveler-friendly GMT functionality, with an independently adjustable 12-hour hand. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, the Caliber 3285 delivers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and features Rolex’s Chronergy escapement, a blue Parachrom hairspring, and Paraflex shock absorbers for enhanced reliability. Like all Rolex Superlative Chronometers, it is guaranteed to maintain an accuracy of -2/+2 seconds per day, ensuring outstanding timekeeping performance.
The bracelet fitted to the new tiger’s iron dial model is the same three-link solid 18k Everose gold Oyster bracelet as its black-dial sibling. Designed with solid end links and single-sided screws for easy adjustment, the bracelet is secured with Rolex’s Oysterlock safety clasp, which features the Easylink comfort extension system for a quick 5mm adjustment without tools. For enthusiasts familiar with the modern GMT-Master II series, the bracelet and wearing experience remain consistent. This new model simply elevates the luxurious appeal of the Everose gold GMT-Master II 126715CHNR, a standout member of the Rolex catalog since 2018.
